       All of this brings us back to the issue of the strategic importance of the English speech contest. We are told on a daily basis that English plays a key role in keeping students competitive. It has become almost a patriotic duty to strive for English proficiency, and to deny the significance of this is to risk ridicule. But despite agreement on the goal, there is virtually no agreement on how it should be attained.

     However a student of Pakturk Int'l School Multan Branch achieved the best by clinching the first position in speech competition of Chief Minister of Punjab. Government paid tribute to him by awarding a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
